Dreamdrops - Huntingdonshire Children’s Charity, makes a real difference to children and families who use hospital or specialist children’s health facilities.
Dreamdrops was set up with the aim of raising money to buy all those little (and large) extras that are not covered by NHS public funds but which make a hospital stay more comfortable - or less stressful - for children and their families.
The charity's work doesn't just stop at the hospital door, as funds are also used to help sick children who are being cared for at home.
Dreamdrops aims to make life a little easier, when it can be at its most stressful.
From high-tech 3-D machines to take children's minds off their treatment, to portable monitors that can make the difference between a child being allowed go home with mum and dad, or spend another night on a ward.
