The Sow and Grow Connective
Dreamdrops is supporting “The Sow to Grow Connective” a growing, community-led initiative based within an allotment at Primrose Lane in Huntingdon, creating an inclusive outdoor community garden space for children, young people, families, and adults.
Rooted in compassion, connection, and care, it offers a place where people can come together to grow – growing food, flowers, confidence, relationships, and the environment around them. Time in nature, shared activity, fun, and play sit alongside gentle support, creating something that feels welcoming, relaxed, and full of life.
The initiative is shaped to include people with a wide range of needs, taking a flexible, needs-led approach that responds to individuals, families, and the community as a whole. Care runs as a thread through everything – from how the land is nurtured to how people are welcomed.
The Sow to Grow Connective is being developed in collaboration with local people, including voluntary and community organisations, GP surgeries, schools, and wider community networks, with a strong focus on co-creation.
As it grows, it will continue to evolve through shared learning and collaboration 0 nurturing a place where people, community, and the natural environment can grow together.
Growing confidence, one seed at a time.
